London – Day Six

Friday September 6 – Our last full day in London we head to the changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. The synchronisation was very impressive, the bands were great too.

The V&A

After the Changing the Guard we headed to the V&A. It was amazing place.

No queues.
No idea but pretty cool
Fountain
We had to hunt for this. This box was given to a relative called Patrick Miller from King Gustavus III of Sweden. It was said to contain the first Swede seeds brought to the UK. For which I apologise wholeheartedly for.
A copy of Trajan’s Column. Bonkers.

Downing Street

On the way home we headed to Downing Street.

Old Double Decker

We caught an old double decker to the hotel it’s bit of a tourist gimmick but hey when in umm… London. The new ones are much much more comfortable.

Double double deckers.

Walked 11.6 km / 16609 steps
